A versatile actor, "Jimmy" Stewart starred in several westerns, including Winchester '73, Broken Arrow, Bend of the River, The Naked Spur, The Far Country, The Man from Laramie, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, How the West Was Won and Cheyenne Autumn. In 1972, Stewart was inducted into the Western Performers Hall of Fame at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. The Winchester '73 is the rifle Stewart is holding in this sculpture.
